Three Rounds Times Three: Episode 3

This episode finishes off our binge-a-rama as we review the last 3 beers in our three times three series.  Shelton Brothers takes us to Canada for these beauties from Brasserie Dieu Du Ciel (it’s French for a kick ass brewery).  All out of Montreal these brews steal our hearts, rob our pocketbooks and really make us consider moving to the Great White North.  They are the Route des Epices (Spice Route) Rye ale brewed with peppercorns, the Aphrodite stout brewed with cocoa and vanilla beans and the Corne du Diable (Horn of the Devil) American IPA.  I think we could not have asked for a better trio to end our trio of trios with….say that 10 times fast…or drunk.

Cheers!

Three Rounds Times Three: Episode 2

This episode is round two of the Three Rounds Times Three series. If you happen to have amnesia or can’t be bothered to read the below post, this is the second part of the three episodes we did all in one sitting. I dare say this round went a bit better than the previous one, maybe because we were a bit more liquored up or maybe it was just because the beer was flat out better. Well it was at least LESS disappointing. Anywho, be sure to check it out on here or on iTunes.

Cheers!

Three Rounds Times Three: Episode 1

This week we were feeling a bit more narcissistic than usual and decided to do 3 episodes back to back. Actually it was because A) We love drinking and B) Who knows when well have the time to another episode. Yes we are all very busy self important jerks with nothing better to do than get drunk and record it for you assholes to listen too.  Anyways, this week we were gifted a nice package with some new beer being brought into Missouri from Shelton Distribution.

Blue Collar Brews

In this episode we did another rendition of Blue Collar Brews. In case this is your first time to one of these themed episodes, our goal on BCB is to drink the working mans favorites. We have some rules in order to bring a beer to BCB you have to be able to get a six pack for under $6 and it has to be an established Blue Collar standard. How we figure out if its a BCB you ask? We just say it is. So take that.

Harry’s Last Stand

Well Bombay is easily our favorite liquor store in the state and that goes without saying. Not just because we have a good relationship with the staff but because they are always trying to keep things fresh and constantly rotate out their selection with something newer and better than before. So being that this might be one of the last couple shows we get to do with Harry’s Recommended brews for quite some time, we decided to all pick a couple favorites that he had us try in the past and the results were nothing less than interesting. Check out the show for more!

Last craft brews for a month

We decided during this episode that it would be a good idea if we took a break from drinking high class and went back to our roots. For this episode we went to the Good Ol’ Bombay Wines and each picked out a beer that we thought would be a proper send off before we began our month of abstinence from craft brews.

Worst of the Worst 3

This edition of WOTW was probably the closest we’ve ever come to throwing up on the show. These 3 nasty brews were picked out by Brad and he had one thing in mind while choosing them: Punishing us. For what exactly we don’t know but I think its fair to say that he regretted it after he had the Budweiser Chelada.
